This is Our Future


This will be our final newsletter for this term – well done to all our students and teachers for an outstanding term of learning, production practice and sporting pursuits. Student semester one reports go live next week, you will be notified via Compass. Three Way Conferences will take place Tuesday 23rd July (week 2).




Thank you for your ongoing partnership, it is through our open communication and support for each other that we are able to ensure each child’s needs are being met. The staff at BBPS love what we do, and your thanks and appreciation are warmly received. 

 

Well done to our Girls Interschool Soccer team for winning the district Seaside title. 

 

Next week, Josh Ancrum will be supporting a team in the Seaside District Girls AFL tournamensuccess @ BBPS

Grade 6 students have almost completed their action projects, with the term’s learning ending in a junior / senior celebration tomorrow –

Cultural Captains will host a games session with Grade 3-5 while the Gordon Captains lead a P-2 mini Olympics. Students are encouraged to wear their sports uniforms.

 



It has been wonderful welcoming back several former BBPS student leaders throughout this term, with students returning as partudent placement, and communithis week, see below for an updated report from the team:

Finance: All finance policies have been updated and ratified and are now available on the school website.

 

Marketing and Publicity: The Photographing, Filming and Recording Policy has recently been reviewed. See the School Policy section of the newsletter for the updated policy. All families will need to provide consent in line with this updated policy. Consent will be valid for the entire duration of enrolment and will be requested via Compass at the start of Term 3.

 

Education and Policy: The School Council has completed its annual Child Safe training, detailing the role of School Council in ensuring BBPS meets standard requirements. All Child Safe policies have been updated and endorsed by the council. We appreciate the community's feedback from the last newsletter. The updated policies are now available on the website.




 

Buildings and Grounds: The inclusive playground is progressing well and is due for completion by the end of the term, weather permitting. The SRC is working on formulating safety protocols for our community. 

 

Additionally, you may have noticed the garden beds are being refurbished, and are looking great!

 

End of term

There will be an assembly on Monday, 2:45pm.

 

Wishing you all a safe and relaxing holiday break. Please note that school finishes on Friday, June 28, at 2:30 pm, with aftercare available. 

Term 3 begins on Monday, July 15.
